Sponsor a barrel!
Would you or your business like to sponsor a firkin of ale at this year's festival?
Crayke Village Real Ale Festival is a celebration of beers, lagers and ciders from micro and independent breweries, mostly local, all proceeds of which will go to St Monica's Hospital in Easingwold and other local charities. If all of the beer is sponsored, all of the takings on the day will go to charity.
Sponsors will get their name:
- On the barrel at the festival
- In the brochure listing the beers, against their individual beer and tasting notes
- On the sponsor's page, with brief information giving their contact details, sphere of activity, etc, etc (An opportunity to give a 'Sponsor's message' will be available)
- On this web site
We'll also be inviting sponsors to an exclusive pre-festival beer tasting event with the organisers at 8pm on Saturday 17 September - so you can check your barrel is in prime condition.
The festival will run from 12 noon to 10.30pm on Sunday 18 September 2005, and should be great fun; but also to encourage families to come, there will be some entertainment, soft drinks and simple food, which can hopefully be enjoyed outside on the terrace.
If you feel able to sponsor a barrel from the beer list please download and complete the form and and post it to CRAYKE BEER FESTIVAL c/o STADDLE STONES, WESTWAY, CRAYKE YO61 4TE. Please also attach your logo, and tell us which charity you'd like to support.
Also, if you are able to help on the day in any way, please let us know - email james@ymn.net or telephone 01347 824813.
Don’t delay – you may be beaten to it in your choice of beer!
